Functions under the direction of the Manager, Supply Chain and Coordinator. Responsible for the storage and distribution of supplies. Position is physically demanding. Heavy pushing, pulling, and lifting of medical supplies. Hospital and medical supply experience preferred.
Delivers inbound freight to designated locations. Match part numbers with bin location tag.
Check expiration dates and rotates stock during replenishment. Issues and maintains minor equipment.
Processing fill stock program. Inputs all requisitions; processes and reviews all pick tickets. Enters credits and returns. Transports pharmaceuticals.
Effectively communicates with customers. Friendly and courteous. Meets or exceeds customers expectations.
Serves as a liason between customer and supplier.
Safety and Quality
Proper handling of sharps and expired product disposal.
Ensures supply areas adhere to Joint Commission standards. Ensures supply areas are maintained and clearly labeled for safety.
Required Minimum Education: High school graduate.
Required Minimum Experience: Two years experience with automated warehousing, receiving and inventory experience. Excellent Customer Service skills.
Required Skills: Must have knowledge of data entry with a personal computer. Must be able to communicate and understand verbal and written English language.
