WellStar Emergency Services Nursing Fellowship
A 12-week learning opportunity designed to expand knowledge, skill and experience in the field of emergency nursing.
Benefits of the fellowship include:
· Working with a preceptor in the Emergency Department (ED)
· Skill labs to increase confidence and competence with common ED equipment and procedures
· Advanced patient simulations designed to allow participants to care for critically ill patients in a safe setting
· ED-specific content and expert presentations
· Emergency Nurses Association’s Emergency Nursing Orientation online modules (75.34 contact hours)
Fellowships will be offered periodically throughout the year. Candidates must be a current registered nurse (RN) with a minimum of 2-year’s work experience in an acute care setting.
