Our clinicians are able to practice numerous interventions and engage interactively with high-fidelity mannequins, who can move, talk, make lung and heart sounds, and simulate virtually any type of clinical experience – from emergency room situations to surgery, heart attacks, births, allergic reactions and much more. The result is a perfect balance of safety, education and the replication of a real-world clinical environment.
The first center of its kind in a non-academic health system in Georgia, WellStar’s Advanced Patient Simulation Center features the following training modules:
